Hey neighbors!

We hope you had a Halloween full of tricks and treats. We hosted a party at our house and dressed up as Ron Weasley and Hermione Granger. :) It was fun to see everyone’s costumes - especially the ADORABLE trick-or-treaters in our neighborhood!

It’s November now, but the spooks keep coming: daylight savings switched last night and that means sunsets at 5pm…absolutely terrifying!!!

Anyways, LIFE IS GOOD because it’s the start of a fresh week, and we live in The South Bay. Let’s get into this week’s newsletter.

Mine & Sam’s favorite menu items include: Pad Thai with Shrimp, Yellow Curry with Tofu, BBQ Roasted Duck, and Pot Stickers.

A standout deal is their “Street Food Lunch” Special served daily until 3 pm): for $15.95, you get a house salad and a choice of Pad Thai, Pad Kee Mow, or Spicy Fried Rice.

Thai Dishes offers a warm, relaxed setting for well-executed Thai fare. This place isn’t flashy; it is reliable, authentic, welcoming, and a South Bay staple!

Sam’s Weather Report

This week, fall’s auditioning for the lead role, but summer’s still crashing the audition. Bring your layers and your shades.

Mornings will show up in their usual foggy pajamas, dragging their heels while the sun decides whether it wants to hit “snooze” or “party.” Then by afternoon? Boom. Some sun, highs soaking into the mid-60s with a cheeky jump to the low-70s toward the weekend. Nights creep into the 50s and low-60s, perfect hoodie-weather for those early sunsets and 6pm dinners in the dark.

Trivia

Which movie was filmed off the coast of Redondo Beach?

A. Captain Phillips

B. Jaws 2
