This local gem brings all the refreshing sweet treats. The most popular is authentic Hawaiian shave ice, and it's absolutely addictive! Weather & Surf
Guess who’s back. Back again. June Gloom’s back. Tell a friend.
You can expect foggy mornings; thick clouds hanging around like they’ve got nothing better to do. But don’t worry, the sun eventually clocks in around noon, giving us gradually warmer days from the high 60s up to a toasty 76 by Sunday! Perfect beach weather for Father’s Day.
As usual: pack layers, wear sunglasses, and embrace the emotional rollercoaster that is coastal California in June.
On the surf front, we’re starting the week with a respectable SW swell that’s serving up 2–3 footers, clean and crispy in the mornings - just the way we like it. By midweek, the SW swell politely bows out while a NW wind swell crashes the party with chest-high peaks and morning glass. Weekend warriors: you’ll still find fun waist-high waves if you beat the onshore breeze. TL;DR: mornings are gold, afternoons are meh, and your longboard should be your best friend all week.
