We will continue to do giveaways, so keep your eyes peeled!
Now, let's dive into what's happening in our little corner of paradise. It’s a short work week, so we’re already ahead of the game.

Restaurants
Jame 241 Main Street, El Segundo, CA 90245
Don't let the unassuming corner of a strip mall location fool you! This seemingly-tiny spot serves food that will knock your socks off. Chef Jackson Kalb (a Top Chef alum!) is cranking out hand-rolled pasta on the daily. For pasta entrees less than $25, you’re getting Michelin-trained quality without the wallet damage.
In our opinion, Jame is El Segundo's most unexpected gem. Just trust us…make a reservation, go hungry (like, really hungry), and prepare to be blown away by Italian greatness!
Our favorite items are the Ciabatta Plate, Kale Salad, Tonnarelli, Spicy Rigatoni, and of course a bottle of wine…or two...we don’t judge. :)

Local Spotlight
If you’ve been to a local farmer’s market, you know Mehran (Mike) from Tehran! He owns Sidies; an LA-based brand inspired by years of experience and love for world cuisines. Mike’s passion is undeniable. He is committed to making delicious, healthy, and unique products such as: naturally fermented tonics, olives, pickled vegetables, nuts, spreads, and so much more.
Please check out their website below and buy everything they sell. You will not regret it!

Last Thursday at the Redondo Beach Farmers Market :)
We would love to feature your small business in the South Bay Newsletter. Reply to this email & give us some backstory.
Weather & Surf
This week is bringing us the classic coastal drama: foggy and cozy mornings, followed by sunny afternoons. No rain in sight…just the marine layer doing its usual slow-motion disappearing act.
Daytime highs will be in the upper-60s to mid-70s; warm enough to consider going in the water, but cool enough to change your mind. Evenings dip into the low 60s, so bring a hoodie or you’ll be stealing someone else’s!
In the water, surf’s rolling in with relaxed, cruisy vibes—2 to 3 feet most of the week, AKA “just enough to have fun, not enough to be humbled.” Mornings will be clean and glassy, perfect for logging or flailing around with purpose. By noon, winds will kick in like they have been. Water’s around 64°F, so throw on a 3/2 wetsuit and fake it till you make it!

That’s all for now, folks. It’s a new week in the greatest place on earth; don’t take it for granted!
See you around town.
